Ronald McNeel, who received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Houston in 1973, in now in his 32nd year with Baylor College of Medicine. He is an assistant professor in the college's Center for Educational Outreach. McNeel received a doctorate in public health from the University of Texas and his work focuses on human nutrition and obesity research.

Anne Reuter, who graduated in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in biophysical sciences, recently completed a Ph.D. in integrative biology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She accepted a position as a coordinator with the Medical Center's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee.

Chris Hester, who graduated from UH in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in computer science, served as chief technology officer of a company he co-founded until the firm was sold in 2006. The company, Performance Assessment Network, sells and administers pre-employment screening and testing over the Internet. Hester continues to work as a software developer for the company, which is now a division of Equifax.

James Sells, who received a bachelor's degree and master's degree in math in 1975 and 1977, respectively, is chairman of the mathematics department at San Jacinto College Central Campus.

Juan Garriga, who received a bachelor's degree in physics from UH in 1990, is now an instructor at Johnson Space Center. He oversees one of several teams that train astronauts about shuttle operations.
