INITIATIVES FOR EXCELLENCE
In my travels within the state of Texas and in other parts of the country, I meet many UH alumni who are astonished when they learn how the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the University of Houston have changed since they were on campus. A particular source of amazement and pride is that NSM is at the forefront of scientific research in fields such as BioNano Technology, biomedical science, and energy and air quality research, using computational resources and instrumentation that rank among the best in the nation.
